Hi folks!

It hasn’t been that long since the last release and we already have more good news for you! Luna in the Tavern v0.32 is out! Like I mentioned before, this update and the next one are going to be focused on Lanaya, letting you see her relationships with the tavern’s patrons from a new angle. Each update will have two scenes – one for every unique visitor within the tavern’s walls. However, these scenes are somewhat harder to find than others. Lanaya will only reveal her secrets if the cards fall a certain way. How exactly? You’ll have to find out yourself (or look in the walkthrough).

Interestingly, with the new Lanaya scenes, the amount of content in Chapter Five is now equal to Chapter Four, if you ignore the Bimbo Luna arc, which is massive and could be a smaller chapter by itself. It’s been several years since we started working on Luna in the Tavern. What was at first a mini-game of drunken jokes and erotic snippets from Luna’s life turned into the story of a long night for a warrior who has been looking for redemption for so long she’s afraid of letting herself relax even within the company of friends. Following that logic, the size and contents of the scenes have changed accordingly. Even though I don’t like focusing on numbers for such things, I have another interesting fact to share: where at first an erotic scene contained around 50 lines of script, later scenes have grown bigger and richer, coming in at around 100 to 200 lines. I’m curious whether you’ve noticed this change and how you feel about it. It was partly due to all the writing experience I’ve gained over the years and partly the desire to explore the characters and their struggles more and more deeply even in the most unusual and intimate situations.

The next update will be for Dirty Deeds. You can expect some very juicy scenes (thank you again, DJCompass), that I still need to prepare a good script for. We’re also already working on a new round of questions for Tavern – content that the player unlocks after Lanaya’s scenes with the guests. We’ll see if we manage to deliver two updates in November, too. I don’t want to make any promises, but we have reasons to think we can!
