Release 0.8.5

Hi folks!

This is update 0.8.5. Despite the number, we’ve been working on it for a while. A new ending is waiting for you, this time with Jackie - one of the only guys in the game to have a face - but you’ll have to put in a bit of effort to find it. The most important thing is, it will be much easier to keep track of the Alcohol, Excitement, and Resentment parameters. Luna now has an inventory, where you can check them at any time.

This update took a lot of work and is directly related to future interactive tavern quests and environmental interactions on different screens. The player will be able to find items in the environment or get them from other characters and use some of them directly from the inventory. We’re planning to add the ability to change clothes in the form of a costume slot and an additional item slot (we even have a rough outline for a quest involving putting on Mask of Madness, leading to non-stop fucking!)

The inventory already works, so we added a few items to Luna’s pockets that players can check out and read the descriptions of. The inventory, coupled with clickable scenes, which we added in version 0.5, is the setup for a full interactive tavern, which will most likely appear together with Lina’s update. There is also the development and debugging of a few features ahead of us, such as free movement between environments, making sure the right variables work in different timelines, and more. We’ll start working on those in September along with new versions.

By the way, version 0.7’s content is already available to everyone (including offline builds), while update 0.8.5 shares its early access with 0.8 and is already available to semi-support tier patrons! That’s it for now! Please subscribe and follow the game’s development!
