I hope you enjoyed the trailer for our remaster and TitDang's post. Personally, I enjoyed it very much. I must've rewatched the trailer 10 times. I'm very happy we're doing a remaster because the game has a completely new look to it now. I've seen those scenes hundreds if not thousands of times during development (the game needs to be tested anew every time we make an update!), but nonetheless it still managed to surprise me.

But anyway, I've decided to surprise you this time! I've been working on improving the engine for the mobile version of Dirty Deeds for most of the month. I redid every button and every letter to make sure they're not too small while easy to tap with your fingers on a phone screen.

I'd noticed that the game was less convenient to test on mobile a while ago. So, while TitDang was having medical issues, I had some time to improve the engine (What? Did you think I was just sitting around? Nope!) I stretched many of the game's menus out across the screen because that was the only way for the content to fully fit. For example, the save menu.

But the stream mode menu just couldn't be simply stretched out. Some decorative interface elements (like the tags at the top) had to be removed, while others were re-positioned. I didn't delete anything important to the plot, of course, all in-game content remains whole in the mobile version.

It's much easier to read the text on mobile now. This is a visual novel, after all, and the plot is just as important as the visuals, in my opinion 🙂

The gallery has also been stretched out across the entire screen. This will make looking at scene previews easier.

And I have some good news for you, of course. The Luna in the Tavern remaster will also get a new mobile interface, and all the buttons in menus will be just as big as the new version of Dirty Deeds. Trying out our game's new look will be much more convenient.
